WE ARE A RESALE STORE NOT A CONSIGNMENT STORE. As a licensed secondhand dealer we purchase items from the public using store credit. You get store credit the same day you sell to us+ we take all the risk and associated costs to resell. Below are some common resale terms:
donation- when a person gifts items to the shop or charitable cause without expectation of anything in return.
seller- a person who brings items to the store to sell for cash or store credit.
buy outright- when the store gives a seller something in return for their items and takes all associated risk BEFORE items are listed for sale in the store (this is how we currently operate using store credit)
consignment- when the seller is given a credit or cash payout AFTER their items sell in the store.
presort- method of preparing items to be sold, donated, or discarded
clothing sandwich- a small stack of clean + neatly folded clothes
store credit- when a store gives a person a shop gift card or allows seller to trade items for products in the store. Has no cash value.
